From the house you have beautiful walks along the cliffs in both direction. Going left you´ll pass Ponte de Piedade that is known for its amazing cliff-formations and caves, and continuing along the cliffs that direction will take you down to Lagos. Going right, or west, from the house a breathtakingly beautiful two hours walk will take you to the next little town -  Luz.                                                                   Two close beaches: Canavial - within two min reach by foot, and Porto do Mos which you reach within 10 min walking.                   Closest supermarket - 10 min by foot. Closest big supermarket 5 min by car. And walking the straightest way down to Lagos will take you about 15-20 min.   And then to Lagos - This warm and welcoming town, by many considered the absolute pearl of the coast, and where tourism has been developed to blend most beautifully with its own history and culture. Visitor or resident - here you´ll find everything you need in terms of shops, markets, stores, resturants, bars, cafe´s, dancing places, banks, hotels, rentals, health and medical-care. And as for the citizens of Lagos - they are no different from the rest of the portuguese people - so friendly!! Makes your heart sing!!   Another heart-warming thing is the amount of really good and various cultural events that the whole algarvian region has to offer. There are art-exhibitions, conserts, ballets, theatrical performances, music, celebrations and festivals of so many various kinds, and most often to fees that makes you think it´s almost free.                      And for those of us who´re into sports we have almost everything, for ex; Golf (lots of real good courses around. The closest to the house 5 min by car, and closest championcourse, Palmares, 10 min by car), Tennis (5 min by foot), Squash, Hiking, Horseriding, Windsurfing, Hang-gliding.
